Community & Township Issues

Liberty Township is facing important decisions that will affect residents, services, and long-term costs. These issues deserve thoughtful discussion, clear information, and responsible leadership.

Recent development pressures and planning decisions beyond our township borders have raised legitimate concerns among residents about growth, service capacity, and local control. Addressing these concerns requires steady leadership focused on protecting Liberty Township’s interests while planning responsibly for the future.

What I Support

Why These Issues Matter to Me

Liberty Township is more than a place on a map — it’s where families grow, businesses invest, and neighbors look out for one another. Every decision made at the township level affects real people, real services, and real lives.

As I’ve spoken with residents across our community, several concerns consistently rise to the surface They matter because they reflect the core responsibilities of  good local government.

Protecting Residents from Tax Shock

Sudden increases in taxes or fees create hardship for individuals and families who are already managing household budgets carefully. I believe fiscal planning should be predictable, transparent, and respectful of taxpayers, while still funding the services our community relies on.

Planning for Growth Responsibly

Liberty Township is growing, and growth can be an opportunity—if it is managed well. I support growth that enhances quality of life, preserves community character, and does not overwhelm essential services like fire protection, EMS, and roads. Thoughtful planning prevents problems before they start.

Maintaining Transparency in Decision-Making

Residents deserve clear, honest communication about how decisions are made, how funds are spent, and how policies affect daily life. Transparency builds trust, and trust strengthens community.

Ensuring Local Voices Are Heard and Respected

Government works best when it listens. Residents’ priorities should help shape township decisions, and I am committed to keeping that dialogue open through regular communication, public meetings, and direct engagement.

Closing Statement

These issues matter to me because they reflect the lived experience of the people I serve — not abstract policy ideas, but real choices that affect daily life here in Liberty Township. My commitment is to thoughtful, responsible leadership that honors that trust.
